Material Inspiration

Prior to moving to the City of Glasgow College, the Sustainable Materials Library was hosted at the Lighthouse in Glasgow under the name of Material Considerations.

Developed in 2012, it was conceived as a joint venture between Architecture Design Scotland (ADS), Zero Waste Scotland, Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (now Built Environment – Smarter Transformation), Scottish Forestry and The Building Research Establishment (BRE).
